RSS
We make search results and the top bookmarks list available in RSS. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a lightweight XML format designed for distributing Web content, and can be easily parsed using Perl or other open source software. In addition, you can register our RSS feed with your favorite RSS aggregator (for example, Apple's Internet browser Safari has a built-in RSS aggregator). Using our RSS feed is easy! For example, to get tags applied to www.givealink.org, submit the following query:
http://www.givealink.org/rss/feed?url=http://www.givealink.org/
To get urls given a keyword query, e.g. 'fun' and 'work', submit the following query:http://www.givealink.org/rss/feed?keyword=fun+work
- url: A + separated list of urls to get a list of related links.
- tag: A + separated list of keywords to get the list of related urls.
The feed will contain a sample title from our users, the link, and a description. At the very beginning of the description is the similarity value in the case of a query URL, and the strength of the URL (according to our network) in the case of a tag query.
